I think the bell housing are different on the v8, v10 and cummins motors.

Yes they are. V8 bellhousings are rare used... but cost $200 new from a dealer.

I goofed up on the input shaft info. The pilot tip diameter is the same width on the HD and the LD so It seems to me you could use the HD trans as it comes from the factory, keeping in mind to order a clutch for a v10/diesel.

I also bought a new Tcase tailhousing (the one with the bearing, not the outer piece) from them for about $170. Those are the only parts i've bought fromt them, but in my experience so far they have been good people. A brand new cast aluminum bellhousing for $200? Can't beat that man, thats a lot of materiel, and a pretty oddball part for that price.

lol yea, but just fyi always call herbert town and country before you pick somethin up from landers, there usually alot cheaper
