JBA headers and a new y-pipe. You can just have an exhaust shop make a y-pipe for you cheaper than the jegs.

THat will actually give you a performance gain, and will also cost about 800-900 bucks total (with labor).

Stewie, can you post the link or part number?

Thanks.

It shows year models '94-'99. I'm not sure if it'll work for the '00 and '01 or not. This is the only one they show for Dodge.

I wouldnt run true duals, your motor needs a little bit of back pressure to run right, also you would have to figure out something for your o2 sensors.

How would true dual's with cat's or without and whatever muffler of choice on say 2.5" pipe hurt the back pressure?

O2 Sensor may be a little more fun to figure out, but I'm sure someone has, I KNOW he's not the first person to think true dual's on a 2nd Gen Ram, or any Ram for that matter.

I used to drive a 1998 Chevy K1500 with a V8 305, stock air cleaner with K&N Filter (box with filter is setup on the passenger fender with pipe going to intake) no catalytic converter, a magnaflow muffler (not sure what series) and it was single in dual out and it sounded GREAT and had lot's of power. I know that was a Chevy and not a Ram but I would think you'd get similar results with any healthy engine.

But that setup was not true dual exhaust, just dual from the muffler back.

I run SLP Headers, high flow Y pipe, gutted cat, FlowMaster cat back (dual outlet, rear exit). No engine light at all. Sounds great and ran great, the 360 is being rebuilt as we speak and changing the stock heads (cracked) with some Edelbrock Aluminium heads, RV cam and a little intake work.
