It never rubs in 2wd. And I was saying I only made 5 turns in 4wd and it happened every time, I was just moving it in a parking lot.
are you sure the tire is scrubbing? have a helper watch while you roll and turn. the part time 4wd system in our trucks has a huge amount of resistance to turns, especially in a paved parking lot, and it fights the turn and causes the steering wheel to jerk back and forth. this is actually normal.

I was thinking it was but have no experience so far with 4x4 Ram's so I wasn't sure. I remember it was a pain to turn my old S10 Blazer when in 4 low, 4 high wasn't too bad.
Question becomes, was it rubbing, or, was it simply the drivetrain binding? In 4wd, front and rear are locked together, so, on hard surfaces, it's gonna make some odd noises.
that's what it probably is. Thanks, after seeing it wasn't hitting anything, that's what I started to think, but was seeing if anyone else had an idea.
Being in 4WD you have to be careful when driving on pavement and all the wheels have traction. When your turning on dry pavement all your wheels are locked in and are turning at different speeds and causes lots of stress on the drive train. You can easily damage a transfer case when driving on dry surfaces. I would guess that's the noise.
