Rockauto is showing the 53030262 injector is the correct injector for a 95, regardless if it's 5.2 or 5.9. The 53030778 is for a 96, regardless if it's 5.2 or 5.9.

If you're using 53030778's on a 95, you're running it lean.

I agree that it must be running leaner, but the soot on my bumper makes me think it's not running significantly lean. If it were you, would you swap the injectors?

Make sure the fuel system is depressurized, then just pull the fuel rail, and swap 'em out.

Got em done. Used new o-rings (glad I did) and changed them after removing the fuel rail. We'll see if there's any difference. I checked the #4 spark plug and it was white, and the tailpipe was light gray, so I think it was running lean.
