Default 95 5.9 Injectors in a 94 5.2

When I did my plenum fix I just swapped a manifold I fixed with the old manifold. The old manifold was from my 94 5.2, and the new manifold was from a 95 5.9.

I left the fuel rail and injectors in place so now my truck has the original injectors from the 5.9, and recently read that Dodge used different injectors during the OBDI years.
Does anyone think that I should change out the injectors back to the original ones?

Seconded. The 5.9 injectors have a higher flow rate, so, when in open loop, you will be running REALLY rich.

Compare the part numbers on the injectors.

The 5.9 injectors have number 53030773 or it may end with '8' and the 5.2 injectors are 53030262

Would having the HS 1.7 RRs be any consideration in this?

Well there seems to have been a lot of discussion about injectors in the past, none of it being very conclusive.
The dealership shows the 53030778 injectors being fitting a 96 5.2 and the 53030262 injectors fitting a 94/95 5.2

The info I'm pulling up is 53030262 flow 24.6 lb/hr @ 39 psi and 53030778 flow 23.2 lb/hr @ 49 psi. So you're running it lean.

The 5303262 injectors sound like they're a bit much, it seems like something along the lines of a 19# at 39psi injector was called for. I don't get any pinging so I (perhaps wrongly) assume that I'm not running excessively lean. Is there any cheap way to find out? This problem should also only be during open loop, so it can't be tested at idle.

So for comparison, that would mean that the 5303262 flow 27.57lb/hr @49 PSI. That seems too high.
Or the other way around is that the 53030778 flow 20.70 lb/hr @39 PSI.
