Not everyone. There are other mods/upgrades you want to do also. Just slapping that thing on is not the end of it.

All I have is the air gap, SCT tune and a poor man's tb (not tuberculosis) I really don't feel a difference. I am, however getting ready to install some JBA headers (thanks to matty) and install a comps cam timing chain (cheapest one I could find) So we'll see what happens.
When I had my kegger and installed my tunes, now THAT was one hell-of-a difference. As soon as I installed my air gap, that went away. I told hemifever about that, but he said it has nothing to do with the tune.
The 2 main reasons I installed my air gap was: 1) my plenum was leaking (surprise surprise) and 2) I was able to buy it off of a member here for $100

Hey info, I found my spare fuel hose if you want it. You'd just have to buy some fuel injector clamps DO NOT USE HOSE CLAMPS!!!

I've already ordered a new timing set, thermostat, water pump and some new hoses - I haven't ordered felpro gaskets yet, that is next. As well, I'm _STRONGLY_ considering ordering pacesetter long pipes and installing a true dual exhaust. My understanding is setting up the O2 sensors in H pipes will sort out a number of problems (as I plan to take out the cat).

Also... if my typng is off... sorry. was out drinking all night for the bday!

The tune does matter.

That's what I thought but I can't do much about it since Hemi said a stock tune would be just fine

Howdy All!

I'm bringing this one back to life instead of starting a new one! I'm on the West Coast, enjoying beautiful BC while I'm on some leave! Gotta love the military life! 3 weeks off and they flew me across the country!

Stopped in at MOPAC today to talk to them about picking up a FELPRO gasket kit for the truck, but they told me they don't make one. Which... I was surprised to hear.

I had found THIS ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-KS2109/ ) while I was searching earlier and went there to pick it up... but the guy seemed very certain that Fel-Pro doesn't make a gasket set for the Dodge 5.9L/360. He said they sold a conversion kit and some other kit...

Perhaps someone can set me straight? I'm looking at the kit as I'm sure I'll use a large number of the gaskets when I do the FI Airgap, timing chain, etc, etc, etc.

Thoughts and Help?

Thanks,
InfO.

That's for an LA block. You have a Magnum block. Why not just piece it out? If not, this is what you'd want: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SL...1864/?rtype=10 The pic is not the actual set.
Or this depending on what gaskets you need: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-CS98982/

Thanks for the heads up. I will probably piece it at this point.
