FI Airgap Intake
Alright, it's purchased! I went with USPS since it was $90 shipping and handling. Not the cheapest, second too, but the cheapest was UPS which means another hidden handling fee.
So all being said, just under 700. Wish I lived in the States some days, or knew someone who lived in Bangor or Holton or really ANYWHERE North/North Eastern Maine. When I lived in Vancouver, I used to rip down to Bellingham all the time. But the Army sees fit to put me where they want me!
Checked out another thread, think I'll be ordering this: http://www.amazon.com/Competition-Ca...=5336108634-20 to go along with the current order. That is unless I can find it cheaper and in Canada. For the Canadians whom order parts, what are the best online locations for us?

I just don't order on-line, ends up costing me more than what I have to pay from a dealer. But that also limit's what parts I can get.
I have used these guy's a few times for phone orders and I have been to there store.

For what you spent you could have bought a new M1 and install kit and had about $200 left over. To each there own.

It's very possible. But I've been researching here and there, reading what people write - it's sometimes hard to make a decision when you literally watch everyone argue their point of view - some for M1, some for kegger mod, some for FI Airgap. It's purchased, so now I'll make the best of it. I'll be purchasing the electric fan parts soon too, and I have no doubt someone will come and make a comment on that as well.
That being said, merc, I know those guys pretty well ;o) I used to visit them fairly often when I was in Vancouver. In fact, since I'll be there for xmas I think I'll order some parts ahead of time, pick them up, and take advantage of WestJets "no excess baggage fees for military"

I am sure you will be happy, I might have gone with that intake but the $$$ just did not add up right for me. If you come out to the Okanogan let me know. When I last spoke to them(Mopac) they had a set of new Eddy aluminum heads $1200 good deal if they still got'm.
You have other mods though, right?
J DOES make a valid point, this is my first mod - but I also consider a stepping off point. Repair the plenum with a new intake and prepare the truck for the remainder of the upgrades.
You won't notice much difference just doing the manifold. You will probably get more gains from the new timing set...... If you next do headers and y-pipe though, THAT will make a big difference.
