Default Coolant reservior help and thanks

Hi guys, just replaced heater core, evap core, and flushed the coolant. Of course did it all with help from this site and a youtube video that was mentioned in another post. Just wanted to thank eveyone! One thing left I wanted to do is dump the reservior but after pulling up on it kinda feels like might break something if I keep pulling up. Is there a trick or something I'm missing? Thanks

Shouldn't break unless plastic has deteriorated. Pull it slightly away form fan shroud, and lift up. No screws are hidden. Lift about 1" and it should come free. I just pulled mine to change radiator this afternoon. If plastic reservoir is brittle, it is time to replace it anyway.

It just is kinda sorta held in by gravity. There are some tabs that line up in slots in the fan shroud. They sometimes are just a bit tricky to get them to let go.

Reservoir has a small bump in the back that keeps it in place. Pry it gently away from the fan shroud in the middle with a standard screwdriver and lift upward at the same time. An interior body panel pry tool works great if you have one.
