Default replaceing vavles

hey i have a question... can you replace the intake/exhuast vavles while the heads are still on the block?

i know you have to fill up the cylinder with air to replace vavle springs but i figured i'd look in to replacing the vavles since my plenum been leaking for about 2 years(i just replaced it this weekend)

and if this can be done with the heads on... what type of vavles should i go with the OEM style or are there upgraded aftermarket valves out there

Have to pull the heads to change valves, and if you are going to go that far, I would just replace the heads with some aftermarket BETTER casting design units. They can be had for as little as 270 a piece.
