What is the boat pulling load? We talking a little dinky or some 40 footer?

What worries me is what I bolded in your reply. Doesn't make sense.

That is a good check of ball joints and front axle ujoints. 12 and 6 oclock is one shake, and 3 and 9 oclock is other. This can only be done when wheels off the ground. Just wanting to be clear with the details.
The boat is about 4500 lbs..21 foot bass boat.

There I go again. When I brake, the front doesn't dive down noticeably? Maybe if I press the brakes really hard. And I don't really drive corners fast enough to notice body roll too much? But there is no sway bar, should I have one?

I had read where that is a good check, but I didn't know the tires had to be up. I obviously just did it on the ground, which probably tested nothing? haha...surely they will test that at the inspection if I can find one for free

So all in all, I don't know what I'm talking about and am probably worrying too much and it is just a rough riding truck to me, and to make sure I need to get the inspection.

Well, it IS a truck, and it's hard to determine just how rough, rough is through the internet. But definitely get your shocks checked out or just go ahead and buy new ones. They are pretty easy to install, at least on my truck

Ok, that is a decent load. The front dive just tells us your springs are good. lol However, another word for Sway Bar is Stabilizer Bar (Item 2). See the following image and find a link to FSM in the DIY/FAQ subforum. There is a thread to Service Manuals you can download yourself.

You are saying you DO NOT have one? If you indeed do not, I recommend that you get one from a junkyard, especially since you are towing....

We don't know where he resides....hence amount of built up rust.

Well at the salt/ice/snow induced rust will definitely make things more difficult, but still better then paying a shop to do it.

I lived in Southwest Virginia for years and drove a '91 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4 (little 2 door, GREAT in the snow BTW) the rear end (frame, body, etc...) was very badly rusted. So much they had to put cardboard in between the new gas tank and gas tank mount bracket thingy, whatever it's technical term is.

yes so i most definitely have a stabilizer bar...don't know why I looked on the rear..told you, not really vehicle knowledgeable...so will getting monroe sensatracs (load adjusting rear) make it ride smoother (definitely stop bouncing in the back) or it can at least put my mind at ease and i will just get used to the "rough ride"....I still don't think it should be tooth jarring going over a speed bump but maybe i should get used to it? btw, thank you guys for walking me through this like a toddler

Good luck and no problem. Not all of us are *holes.

As for the link thingy:

See the following image and find a link to FSM in the DIY/FAQ subforum. There is a thread to Service Manuals you can download yourself.
I was saying the image is being shown to you. THEN go find the LINK for where you will then obtain another LINK containing the Factory Service Manuals. That way you can peruse on your own to find the same page I presented about the stabilizer bar. I guess I did combobulate that much. (yes made that word up)

I have the load adjusts in the back with the larger leaf pack (without checking it looks like yours, got it from a junkyard w 1 more leaf than I originally had) and it didn't seem the make the ride noticeably worse, nor does it help a whole lot with load, but I do recommend them. Buy locally and keep the receipt with your registration because they have a lifetime warranty, exchange them when they get old for free.

Edit: I got NAPA to price match rockauto.com and saved about $100 off the whole set. RockAuto is a great place to buy most parts, and you get 5% off with a code that they send you or just google for it and you can get a code also.
