When I put the turn signal switch in the left turn position my wipers come on in low speed....they also come on with the emergency flashers. The wipers do not come on with a right turn.
I have replaced the turn signal (multifunction) switch and the central timer module...neither helped or changed anything.
Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Pull the covers off the steering column, and have a look/feel of all the wires at the switch. See if you discover anything interesting.

My dad got me pretty good. He borrowed the truck for a weekend when I first got it, and installed a second car horn on a switch tied into my left turn signal. Waited about a month when I came over to do an complete re-do of the factory stereo to flip the switch. Still need to get him back for that one...

I was sittin' in traffic goin' "who the hell is honkin' at me?" realized it was in sync with my blinker, and immediately though I nicked a wire I shouldn't have... once I figured out it was coming from underneath the bed. Got home and crawled underneath, saw a laminated sticky note zip-tied to the underside of the horn. "Gotcha!"

 

Are you gong to ask your dad to pay for the parts you replaced? I like a good practical joke(r). lmao!

Shoot, it's been a few months. I'm his IT guy for his company. Plan is to make every website he visits flip upside-down. All the other PC's will work fine. Just gotta get free time to sit down and set it up. (For you IT ppl here, Install ubuntu on a VM, setup squid proxy with this script, here and set the VM as his proxy)
