Default kegger mod

well i usually post in 1st. gen,but my engine is 5.2 magnum.
my issue is if i do the kegger mod to my 93 d150 5.2 magnum, what do i do with the EGR tube in the middle of the intake(inside it)?????
i still want my EGR system to work properly so my check engine light does not come on.
i picked up another intake so i can get it ready to go on,mod, hughes plenum plate, new roller lifters etc...
i do know that 92-96 have this EGR tube inside them, well some 96's. what has everyone else done???? thank you

Just cut that sucker out. EGR will still work fine, but, the gases may not be distributed as evenly. You could just carve out the part of the divider after the EGR tube as well.

hey you, i see you have 96 5.9 did yours have the EGR tube or no? if you just cut it out, will it still run and idle good??
on the inside the end of the EGR tube has 2 holes,1 facing the left and one facing the right. i was cleaning the carbon build up out of the tube,in the end of it there was a washer with a smaller hole in the center of it, does this washer need to be in there somewhere???
i would not worry about the mystery washer if i just cut the tube out.
anyone else just cut this tube out?? but still hook up the EGR valve.
thank you

I got a manifold from a 97, no provisions for EGR, and modded that one, and then just did the manifold swap when the time came. My stock manifold had a block off plate, and no other provisions for EGR. I don't get any codes, so, I suspect that was dodges answer to eliminating EGR, but, still having some EGR manifolds left.

I didn't seem to. Infact, I picked up a fair bit of low end grunt. Of course, my plenum was severely blown. Changing the timing chain and gears made a huge difference as well
