Heating problem
hello all at Dodge Forum
...i have a '98 Ram 1500 2 wheel drive 318 auto a/c/t no power windows, with about 350,000km at operating temp all hose's are just warm, except for the pass side lower rad hose & the pass side radiator tank -which are cool to the touch-, at the dealor was done -thermostat and flush, when upon accelerating and the vents on dash setting (you know to keep the hands warm) it stops blowing strong and when reaching cruising speed it blows fine, now when we had that cold snap here in Calgary? ice cold in the cab! nice now Feb 7th 2012 it's fine (warm in the cab) (no)smell of antifreeze in the cab, no leaks under the hood...blend door? hot/cold dial? i have no idea where and what is the problem, every rad shop here say's the cold tank/rad hose is normal, so that means every new/used car & truck i've ever owned had a heating problem? i don't think so! please help if someone can keoni_ambrose@shaw.ca

First thing I would do is to check if you have the wild vents issue that these trucks are famous for. Just search this forum for "wild vents". Beyond that i'm not sure, hopefully someone else will comment with more help.
