I tried messing with that button, it didn't seem to do anything.

I think I recall you stating that yours is a 2 button remote. I would look on site for any 2 button and try that procedure. Several attempts may be required, but you never know. May get lucky.

Well I think I found the right manual. I think its a 120HF, 135HF, or a 140HF - the key-chain and manuals for those all look the same, but I can't seem to find anything about reprogramming it.

I also found this link: http://www.drdetailshop.com/remoteprogram.html that is supposed to be how it gets reprogrammed, but I tried it multiple times and it didn't work, so I was thinking; could there be a cut wire or broken fuse somewhere?

Thanks.

Could be wire or fuse. I have a saying, "some people should not be allowed to work on stuff..." beacuse they do poor work, especially some electrical work. Can you find the receiver? Trace back where it was wired in and have to check the entire circuit. Hopefully, PO did a good job or had it professionally installed, and did not pull it out of truck.

I wouldn't even know where to begin to look for receiver. May start under dash by steering column.
