Its not 70 dollars for the adapter hose. 97 is the only year they used the plastic rail. Only because I'm sure they figured out pretty quick, that the test port would just snap off.

I'm pretty sure I supplied you with that link in the past? Post #8 in this very thread to be exact.

No biggie, however, not adding ALL the info about your truck to your sig AND profile (if you post from a phone), IS, in my book. LOL Another thing you missed,

Well got the new IAC installed on the back of the TB. I pulled the TB to install and clean the TB. New TB gasket also. Truck is now purring like a kitten. I also re-routed the wires per the TSB as suggested.

I did purchase the fuel pressure test hose you all linked above today also, so will also check fuel pressure later when that arrives in the mail, but don't think that is the issue as it's purring so nicely now.

I really appreciate all the help, what a nightmare this has been, but I've been blessed owning this truck, it's even toured to the UK w/ me while I was stationed there. It's got 130k on it, up until now, have never done anything major to it, other than the normal maintenance stuff, ie tune-ups, oil changes, coolant flushes, brakes, etc. I bought it in 99/00 w/ 33k on it. Not bad IMO..

Looks like I have a new home to trouble shoot in..
