4X4 went out, cad issue, diaphram, posiloc?

im not sure if its dual wound, the compressor is from the 60's. i just emailed the company asking if they know.

i figured out my issue with the new posiloc, i was pushing and pulling the knobb when what i need to do is push it in then screw it down and pull it out and screw it out. other wise it does not lock or unlock

You should not have to do that. It's not adjusted at the CAD correctly. I had that same problem on my 98. The directions suck and make no mention of the screwing in and out part if it.

Thats the way my good friend operates the posi-lock on his 98 24v. Not saying its "right," but it works.

well the kit did suck... the screw in bracket for the end of the cable hat goes into the new cad housing has a good 3 inches of thread and yet only less than half an inch can be threaded in because thats where the out board c-clip needs to go... in either case it works

I took mine out and sold to some one here. It's just another thing to do, and can get torn off just as easily as the vac lines if you do any kind of serious mudding. I don't, just plow my driveway. Pushing it in and out is one thing. But when you have to screw it in and out every time , that three extra things. I'd much rather push the TC lever forward and be in 4x4.

ive had vac line issues on the past 2 trucks ive owned and the replacement parts to fix my system was the same as this cable system. i run ox loc in back and a ARB front so im useto a few extra steps but i just wanted a physical link that isnt going to fall apart like the stock system. plus this kit got good reviews so i figured id give it a shot
