Default Fog light issue

On my 99 sport, when i pull the **** for the fog lights they dont turn on. But when i pull just a little bit harder they work just fine until i let go (they turn back off). What can i do to make it so they work normal? When they turn on i can hear the click in the fuse box. Thanks for the info.

Sounds to me like it might be a faulty switch. These are stock lights correct?

I picked one up from Advance for like 45 bucks, works fine. The PO had chopped off the OEM fog lights because he couldnt figure out that it had a bad switch. I just got done wiring them back in.

The switch is bad, Ive had this same issue with my truck, You can either attempt to take the switch apart and repair it (unreliable) Or buy a new one. If you let this go on, It can become much worse. Ive had mine drop out while going down the road at random. All lights. Gone. Not fun at all.

If you want to pick one up from the bone yard, the Richmond pick n pull has atleast 5 '98 and up Rams you can take a look at. Just a friendly heads up.
