where to buy cheap 2500's?
I am looking to buy a new ram in the next couple months for no more than maybe 4-5K (the cheaper the better). I have been looking on auto trader and cars.com however most seem to be around 10K or so with maybe one or two every now and then in my price range. i plan to do a full rebuild on mostly everything so i would not mind getting a salvage title or some wrecked truck, the only issue is it would need to be driveable as is due to my spce/time/finiancal constraints i dont have the ability to buy a total wreck and rebuilt it outright.
anyone know of good sites or places to go? i live in MN and while im open to going anywhere in the country to pick up teh truck i want to make the sale over the phone or online.
the truck im looking for would be a 98.5-2002 24V i6
thanks

TEXAS! Especially Dallas, houston, east texas etc...
They will be well used, but rust free, something you are not familiar with im sure
Craigslist is addictive... Also i like this site www.searchtempest.com it lets you search craigslist within a distance of your zip. Happy hunting!

I 2nd Craigslist. Unfortunately you will not find a running/driving 24V Cummins for 5K or less unless it is a complete pile. There will be plenty of V10's and 5.9L gas trucks but no one is giving the Cummins away.
Something like this?

Can't tell if its a 53 block, but with 277,000 on it, either it probably doesn't have it, or if it did, its already been replaced. But would definitely check to make sure.
