Default Broken head

I'm not to sure what the part is, but it's the bracket that holes the throttle / break lines.

The bracket has 3 small bolts that go into the throttle body
1 on the side
2 on the front

the one on the top left broke off

the other 2 are pretty tight and the bracket doesn't budge. So I'm curious if it will be bad to leave it how it is.

If you need pictures I'll take some

As long as it all feels sturdy still, it shouldn't matter. I personally couldn't let it stay like that lol. I would think about it constantly!

You'll be fine for now. Keep soaking them though. Had the same prob on my 98 when I installed the Fastman TB on my 98.

The thing is real sturdy, it doesn't move at all. I don't have a drill to get rid of that bolt in there.

How did that break? What were you trying to do? The other bolts should hold that bracket. The bracket is for the throttle cable (gas pedal), cruise control, and throttle valve cabel to transmission.

Steel bolt, aluminum throttle body. Not really a surprise. There is another bolt right below it, so, that one being MIA won't bother you any.

Alright, thanks guys.

Yeah.. the bolt was pretty weak. I gave it a little tug and it just snapped on me. But the other 2 should keep it in place till I can get the time to drill it out.

Cheers.
