Actually with towing it home and replacing the driveshafts, it cost $500 less than I bought the truck for

Back on topic, the nv4500's put behind 360's in the 2500's (see my sig) have a 23 spline output, just like the autos, so you should be able to keep your transfer case.

Thats why when i went to the dodge dealer years ago to browse around and saw the blue ram i currently have sitting on the lot for sale i bought it on the spot. I have never seen another 5-speed 2500 since then.

Well If you are referring to all 2nd Gen 2500's, your eyes must be closed...

Cummins 5 speeds are everywhere. V10's are harder to find but they are out there. It's the v8 5 speed 2500's that are rare. Like mine...

you can v10 with 5 speeds alot easier than finding a cummins... i went truck shopping yesteryda went to 10 dealerships and found 3 5 speed cummins and eight 5 speed v10s(what a pointless motor)

Still doin' better than here. You can visit EVERY dealership with 25 miles, and not find a single second gen cummins for sale. Manual OR auto.....
