+1!!! I was just in the Great Smokey Hills in east TN/NC over thankgiving and kept wondering when we were gonna get to the mountains.
Well down here in my neck of the woods there aren't too many hill's, a few here and there.
Some roads have "roller coaster" hill's but they ain't nothing.
I used to live in Independence/Wytheville Va, and there are plenty of hills and mountain's.
Took my old '98 Chevy K1500 305 V8 4x4 from Ga to Va, it did GREAT here on the flat's and on the interstate, much better then the Dodge.
Got up there in the mountain's and it seems like every time I went somewhere I had to put gas in it.
Took my Ram to Va, same part's, and the Ram does MUCH better on gas in the mountains then the Chevy did.
Does good on the interstate too.
But real reason I asked about the tank capacity was I was calculating mileage on my wife's car, Buick Century, (I know not a Dodge or Chrysler product),
After my 270.7 mile trip I had exactly half a tank left when I got home, and left with a completely full tank.
From what I've found on the WWW the tank size is 17.50G. Since I only used half a tank, 8.75. 270.7/8.75=30.94.
I can't possibly believe it's getting nearly 31 miles a gallon, the fueleconomy.gov's estimated MPG's are 18 City 21 Combined 26 Highway.
Anyways... Sorry to rant about my Buick weirdo's here on DF, truth is, it's difficult to get response's on Buick Century question's on a lot of the Buick/GMC Forums...

Filled up the car yesterday night, accounted for the extra miles the wife put on it, looks to be getting about 21MPG on the country roads and city driving.
Not too shabby, but could probably be a little better...
