well i think im gonna get it in a couple weeks. hopefully its not a dud. its got a 2 year unlimited milage warranty so we will see....

If you plan to keep the truck for any appreciable length of time, spend a bit more, and get the lifetime warranty alternator, in the amperage output of your choice. I went thru three on my 'bird, and at 220 bucks for one..... with a lifetime warranty, it was WELL worth the investment.

Even though it's more money, an alternator is one of those things I would buy local.

+1 with what Zman stated. Lots easier to get a ride local to replace than to wait on the mail to deliver a new replacement. just my .02
