Default Are all Magnum 318's the same?

I am trying to sell the 318 out of my 92 dakota (sig) and a guy is interested and wants to know if it will work in his 99 1500. Will it work or is there going to be to many differences?

The long block is the same. The passenger exhaust manifold and intake manifold are different (EGR), the throttle body is different, the injectors are different and all the sensors are different. But it can all be easily swapped.

He would be better off swapping his stuff onto your engine. MUCH easier.

Casting numbers in the block. Usually on the rear deck surface, behind the drivers side head, right where there are ten million things in the way, so, you can't possibly see it. Should also be some casting numbers in the side of the block.

Another easy way to check is that 360's are externally balanced, 318's internal.
