Are they the high dollar 'rare earth' plugs? Some trucks don't seem to like them....

How's the coil? Crank sensor??

OK , I said that assuming you didn't use a gasket.

Erm, your truck should idle around 650 or so, when fully warmed, if it's lower than that, need to find out why.

If you don't remember the last time the cap/rotor were replaced, or, if it has been more than a year, just replace 'em.

The plugs are ngk v power coppercore. No iridium or anything like that. they are comparable to a champion copper or autolite just better cause they are ngk. The coil is a msd blaster2 coil and is good. Crank and cam sensor are about a year old and both were replaced at the same time with brand new units.

yea didnt mean to sound like a smart *** but i tried to do everything correct as i could. used felpro gaskets and permatex in the valleys when i did the intake. Do you suggest redoin the inake and using the hughes plate? or buying a mopar intake that doesnt use the belly pan?

No problem bud. Just keep an eye on it. Check it when you do an oil change. The plate is an option and works fine, and of course replacing the intake with an M1 or a Hughes F1 will eliminate the problem all together. But are pretty pricey.

Still may want to pull the upstream O2 sensor and see if it helps to wither confirm or rule out the cat possibility......just my thoughts for a no cost check.....

Also, if idle is not correct, I would check IAC and/or TPS....after disconnecting battery of course (to reset PCM).

Make sure that you got the correct plugs in there. It could be that you got the wrong ones. Also, I know people generally tend to think MSD is the "all mighty" when it comes to wires, but they do arc if not routed correctly. Try this just to rule out arcing. get a spray bottle and MIST the cable's. Do this in the dark/semi dark. It will help show if your cable's are arcing or not. Either way, ROUTE YOUR CABLE'S VIA THE TSB!!! Also, I don't know why, but I have a funny feeling that the cat or exhaust is plugged...I'm with you on that one GDSTOCK.
