have a 1998 dodge ram 5.9l motor.it has 141.000 miles on it.runs great once it starts.you have to turn the key off and on a couple times,then it will start,i can hear the pump when the key is turned on but it acts like it doesn't have enough fuel to start on the first try.does anyone know if this sounds like the fuel pump is going bad.again it runs great once it starts.have tuned up everything else.any help would be appreciated

I am having the same problem. I found one of my injectors leaking down. Replaced my o-rings, IAC, PCV,and fuel regulator/filter. This seems to be a common problem.

+1 on the fuel pressure regulator/filter. Mine has the same problem, after it sits the fuel in the line drains into the tank and you gotta prime it by turning the key a couple times. I'm waitin on some cash to replace the whole pump, but if it's not real old you can just do the regulator if you want
