Default Need help with remote start and door locks

96 ram 1500 5.9 Extended cab
I am trying to hook up my bulldog 500 to control my door locks. I have read several posts on how to hook up the wires but each one confuses me because they are not all the same. Bulldog says I have type C door locks. Can anyone tell me what relays, if any, that i need and how to hook them up. The bulldog website doesn't say anything about using relays but several other sites have.

I KNOW you need relays, having done a remote start myself. I gave up trying to find them though, too lazy.

Sidenote: did you find out how shockingly easy it would be to hot wire our trucks when you did yours too?

It is amazing how easy and fast it could be done! I never thought of it until I did my first remote start.

How does the alarm trip the locks? It should give you the option of either providing power to the circuit, or, providing ground to the circuit....... I think on our trucks, you want to provide a ground path.

edit> I apologize. There are no realy diagrams in that link. There usually are but not this time. Sorry.

IIRC the unlock is reverse polarity and will require relays. The lock wire will work with a straight positive pulse.

I hooked the relays up and the driver side door works with the remote and the door switch. The passenger door switch works but not through the remote. I figured the passenger side wouldn't work when i was hooking it up but i didn't wand to pay another $22 for two more relays. Is there a way around making the passenger side work with the remote without adding two more relays.
