And how do you know the fuel pressure is "fine" ? Did you check with a gauge? Did you replace the cap and rotor? And did you compare the new crank sensor to the old one and what brand did you use?

Smile Click while starting engine

My Son has a 1996 Ram 1500 5.2 4 x 4. In excellent shape, the problem we are having is when it's cold outside and he goes to start it up, it "CLICKS" a couple of times and then turns over slightly slow then fast and fires right up. After it warms up he can shut it off and then start it right back up.
This truck has 175k and runs beautiful. I replaced the starter relay up top.
Is there a starter solenoid I can replace or should I replace the whole starter.
Thanks,

Sounds more to me like weak battery or corroded ground terminals. A weak battery or bad ground will do the exact same thing. If the relay or solenoid were bad it wouldn't start no matter what you do. After running it starts up just fine. This leads me to the battery issue.
