Probably the fan is still running, just the vents switch. Check in the faq section for "wild vents". The fix is in there.

didn't notice it but i got on it the other day and it down shifted accelerated 15-20 mph and the transmission stuttered (best explanation for what it did) and it went from defrost to full front vents

Maybe no vac leak, just a bad check valve. Here is the thread HeyYou spoke of.

Well I have more pressing matters than the transmission right now
Just broke something in the steering tires wont move more than 5-10 degrees in either direction. She's riding a tow truck home

Think maybe the stabilizer just seized up, or, more serious than that?

i think i shredded the steering wheel box. if i disconnect the pitman arm everything moves easy as pie.. if i disconnect the shaft from the box it moves clean and easy. the power steering pump is working perfect.. just the box seems to be the culprit

Welcome to the life of owning a second Gen ram .
I recommend the 3/4 box or the steering pitman arm support stabilizer bracket the prevents wobble and side wear in the box...I love mine...took all the side to side play out of the pitman arm shaft which tightens things up a bit and prevents premature wear.

This is what I got though it was a lot cheaper last summer I thought... Could have been another seller.

well turns out i was dead wrong after getting the plow off and taking it for a spin.. under weight and anymore than idle load the power steering pump SCREAMS like its trying to lift off. even when your not trying to steer. so i drove it for 5-6 miles. and the power steering comes back and dies off intermittently so i'm going to check the pump pressure and if its bad i'll pull the pump and replace it.
