cd player reads errr

Smile cd player reads errr

my radio in my dodge 1999 is stock sum reason, it reads errr on my cds i burn but whne i play a cd thats bought from store it plays

any ideas

It's old, and doesn't understand the format of the disk.

Yep mine did this also wouldn't recognize new or burned cd's so i replaced it. all you can do really, I believe.

Just replace it.. Get a quality one though dont cheap out.. I got a 7inch flip out from pep boys that plays dvds, cds, anything with a usb and has a backup camera and that took a crap and all it does is play the radio.. By far the worst 250$ i ever spent

I got a cheapy $50 "duel" one from wally world, has usb and aux hook up, not the best quality sound but it works for me, only problem is since i hooked it up no sound to passenger side speakers... but thats beside the point
