Default how to choose timing chain and gear set?

looking on summit because am going to change my timing chain and gears over christmas break but there is a whole page of them, could somebody shed some light here.

If you do a search, seems a lot of people use the mopar double roller set: mopar p5249267" ~$63 on summit. (when you go to the link you posted, select "none" in the "max. advance/retard..." category on the left side, and the mopar set will be the only one remaining.)

Get the Cloyes dbl roller timing gear set from Rock Auto. And go to the General discussion area and use the discount code.

Check amazon as well, you can usually get free shipping and it was the cheapest I found for a double roller

cloyes c3072 stock replacement for $40 is fine. its what i used.

i put the MOPAR PERFORMANCE double roller chain and gears on my 93 d150 5.2 magnum,there is a big difference.that was at 127,000,the original had almost 1inch of strech. lots of backlash making the truck stumble and almost die out. good luck
