Type "seafoam" into the DF search engine and there are TONS.

A lot of people on DF use it with good results. And most of them read the can on how to do it. LOL Just don't put it in your oil.

I had my wife hold rpm's up while I let the booster vac line suck up roughly 1/3 bottle. Then dumped 1/3 in throttle body while running (doing this will kill the engine). Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Dumped the rest in gas tank. Started it up (cranked a few times), when it fired I had to keep on the gas to keep it running. In the meantime, it smoked like a b*tch for a few minutes then cleared up and ran on its own again.

It "seemed" to run a little better after doing this.

Don't have anyone holding the throttle open. Just start the engine, remove the brake booster hose, and let the vacuum suck it out of the can into the hose "slowly" without letting the engine stall.

Guess I should have been a little more specific. She only held it at about 1500 rpm.

It will break up the slidge and residue that is holding your compression normal. Then you may get blow by when it is washed away.

It is the same as if you put synthetic oil in a car that has used Dino oil for 70K and over. It loosens the sludge and transports it around your whole engine.
