Thanks guys. I don't run any vehicles hard so don't know why I'd break it in hard.

Ok so I have another question lol. First, the truck runs great. I'll have details when I get rid of this annoying chirp!! It's annoying the hell outta me.Something in the front is chirping. I put a new belt, expesive bastard, and it didnt go away. Removed the belt and tugged on the tensioner some and it had a a squeak to it so replaced it and the problem is still present. It's a slow chirp at idle and increases with rpm's. All the pulleys spin without noise. Any suggestions? I've heard that some belts will do it. I'm pretty sure the belt isn't rubber that contacts the pulleys. Feels like felt or something so i doubt that would make a noise? Ive also heard alternators chirp sometimes or something along those lines. It didn't do it the first couple days running, started faintly and now its really noticeable. I don't know how to check pulley alignment but I was told with removing and reinstalling them they can be slightly off causing that problem. The only new part in the front is the water pump. Maybe they messed that up? I don't know. Let me know what you think! Thanks

To eliminate the possibility of the new belt being the problem, with the engine running and being VERY CAREFUL with the fan blades, spray some WD40 on the grooved and flat side of the belt. If the chirp goes away it's the belt. If it doesn't then get yourself a mechanics stethoscope and start checking everything up front that has a pulley one it.

One foolproof way I know of to check about belts: spray a little water on them while its idling.. if it goes away, its the belt.. just water, now, no 'belt dressing'..

And there is this too: I had a similar issue, and the water trick confirmed it was the belt... I took it off one more time, and put it back on in the opposite direction.. like, simply flipped it.. don't ask me why its so, but it is.. the chirping went away, and I never had issue with it again.

Awesome guys. I'm in the garage now. I'll flip the belt first and try , then the water then wd40 but it seems that the wd40 isn't recommended by some lol

Then that 'some' don't know what they are talking about. The main ingredient in WD40 is fish oil and is harmful to practically no type of material. Do a google search on the different uses for WD40 and you'll see what I mean.

I didn't mean to start a war lol but I'll read through those in the near future for the knowledge. Shockingly, flipping the belt has worked for the last three or four min. It's still running. Hopefully it continues. I've noticed the tensioner moving quite a bit. Not a crazy amount but it doesn't kick around a bit. I've never paid attention to it before. Is this common? I know its supposed to move but should it be almost continuous?
