.480 is considered max on the stock springs. So, your choice. Given that choice, I would replace them 'just because'...... if you have a lot of miles on the engine.

The Hughes whiplash cam won't work on computer controlled vehicles. I have one in a 318 I put in my Mazda. Man I can't wait to get that thing running.

They make them for magnum motors
