still, have you ever tryed sticking a 32" flat screen tv in the back of an extended cab truck with no rear door? I did it last weekend... pain in the ***... even hunting rifles and bows are a bitch.
If I dont want people in the back I just tell them no.... If I were afraid for some reason I guess I would just fill it up with said "tools and cargo"

Chevy changed their body style in 99, so they had two designs of trucks in 99. I bought one of the first new ones in Texas that was scheduled to be displayed at the State Fair. There was a strike at some tier 1 suppliers, so tooling change at plants was disrupted. I had spent 7 years working for Nissan USA and was leaving to take another job, and they were so narrow minded, they would not let me keep my company car.....so I needed to buy something immediatley.

The 99 in the new Silverado body style only had 3 doors, and although I did not have a flat screen to wrangle in and out, it was a pain loading rifle cases and getting guns out at the lease from the driver side. I think the 4 door version became available in 2002 but am not sure.
