It's a double ferrule setup. So I'm thinking installation error.

And it would be the first time I have heard of one failing.

something had to be wrong, thats all Im saying. Maybe defective ? Who knows right?

Well I'm gonna put the sensor in the side of the pan when its time to change it again. I just wondered if I could throw the sensor in the port without it hitting anything
