Default truck shuts off at 70mph

I have a 1995 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.2. When I hit 70 mph on the highway, the transmission acts like it goes into neutral, the speedo goes to 0, and when i slow down to a stop, it stalls out. I let it sit a couple minutes then it starts right back up. its almost like the computer is freaking out in my opinion. the truck acts normal till i hit 70. mechanics look at me and all tell me they never ran into a problem like this. I have been looking all over trying to figure out what the problem is. i really would like to fix it because i need it for work. can someone please help me? thank you.

If you stay under 70, will it continue to run normally?
