Window regulator rollers broke

#43
Fixed mine with parts from Home Depot. Hardware drawers. Bought a Nylon Spacer 1/4 ID X 5/8 OD X 3.8 Long. UPC Code 87480 15078. Sanded it down to roughly the same thickness as the original parts. Took a 7/16 spade drill bit and removed material from the inside to accommodate the head of the bolt. Used a 3/8 drill bit to round out the bottom of the Nylon spacer. Install a flush head #12 X 3/4 inch machine bolt and attached a flat washer and #12 nut to the exterior to lock the new bushing together.
Next I drilled out the nipple connectors on the regulator and slid my new bushing into the track (after test fitting several times). Then connected the screw/bushing to the regulator with flat washers on both sides a
The raw part from Home Depot (in the bag) and my manufactured bushings.
Bushing in the Home Depot Bag and my manufactured replacements.
New Bushing assembly on the left. Three unassembled parts on the rght.
Original Busing is on the Right. The three parts unassembled in the middle and the finished replacement busing on the left.
d a second #12 nut on the exterior secured with Loc-Tite thread compound. Worked like new.
