Ebay LED buying guide for 2nd gen dodge ram
Just purchased some more 3157 with the refunded money from the first set.
Will take a few weeks to get them, I will probably order some more expensive ones from the US when payday comes that will get here before these.

Its hard to say what the problems was, my guess is that you just got a bad set. Those ones are pretty bright if working correctly. I have some lights I will send you for free that I accidentally ordered, I they will fit your reverse lights if you trucks use 1156 bulbs.
These are my next 3157 purchase.

I will stop buying when I get 2 working sets, so far the first/only set that didn't work in the brake/turn/running position was free and it still works in the position for the reverse lights. That's why I'm making this thread, when I found out how cheap these are vs the ones you can buy locally I thought it was to good to be true, so instead of assuming it was, I am testing them and posting my reviews so hopefully I can help people avoid buying as many sets as I will have to.

if it will work you can get the same thing on e-bay for $4
thanks for the offer jmbishop but i don't have any 1156 sockets in my truck. when i got my truck they where rusted out so i replaced them with 1157 sockets that i had and are just as bright and if i need to i can swap out a bad brake light bulb with the back-up light on the same side.
i have seen that guy selling lights and they look like they are bright and good quality but at $13 each i find it hard to justify buying them. i could buy stock bulb brand new for $1 each.

are they as bright as they look in the picture? which light socket did you try it in? it think i might have mentioned it before but i think you need to use yellow or amber led lights in place of the stock ones or else it may not seem bright enough or the right color. i found the white from the led almost use to bleed through the red lens and made it look off and the red ones did not stick out through the red lens enough.
The light is nowhere near as bright as pictured, in fact it isn't even the one pictured. I plug them in outside of the housing first just to make sure all the diodes are lit up. They are not as bright as the incandescent. I tried it in the drivers brake/signal/running position.
I sent a nasty message to the seller and he claims its a manufacture defect but I know better. He is easy to work with and offered a refund + return shipping, I may try to have him send another one just to make sure but I doubt any replacement he sends will be better.
