OK just looked at the link. I understand it a little bit better now. I think I figured it out now. I don't believe it was the cad at all. The green and white vacuum lines are broke going towards the motor. I don't know where they hook to. Do you perhaps have a diagram of the vacuum lines from motor to plug on transfer case?

Link in post number 4 has vacuum diagrams.

White vacuum line is supply to the vacuum switch on the t-case. Green is the vent line. It doesn't hook anywhere up top. Just has a fitting on the end of it. (filter)

Okay so I changed all the vac lines from the transfer case to the actuator and from the transfer case to the intake. Put in 4wd while the actuator is off axle and it moves forward as it should. When I put back in 2wd actuator fork barely moves and I have to help it move back. While the actuator is unhooked I can move the fork freely without it hanging up. It evens slides freely while in 2wd. There is vacuum at both lines on actuator but to disengage the axles I have to pull cad off and manually slide collar back. Does this mean the vacuum motor is bad? Also diagram shows green line off tcase vacuum switch to be a vent. Should I plug this or run it up towards the motor and zip tie off?

I'm pretty sure that's just a breather hose. Are you sure there aren't any vacuum leaks? Is there good vacuum on the end that plugs into the cad unit?

The vacuum feels weak to me but Im not sure what could be causing the weak vacuum I've checked all lines and seemed to be okay. As far as leaks go. How can I check. I know I can hook a Guatemala to it but not sure what it should be pulling

If you have a vacuum pump.... hook it up to the actuator, and pull a vacuum. See what happens. It's possible the bladder in the housing there has a hole in it..... although, it that were the case, you would get sluggish behavior in both directions.... (one would think....) If you don't have the vacuum pump, just hook a short piece of vacuum line to it, and suck on it. (Have something to drink nearby, just in case....)

At idle, you should get around 17" of vacuum at the lines for the cad.

It's possible the T-case switch is leaking internally as well.

Should only be vacuum on one side of the actuator at a time. Outboard for two wheel drive, inboard for 4.

I bet you are posting from a phone.
