Its 40+ degrees here in michigan today, worked outside most of the day, and was actually sweating... That hasn't happened for a while.

Are you trying to use a 3/8ths ratchet on that bolt?

Drive size on the ratchet...... I used a 1/2 inch drive, and while it was a bear, and fought the whole way, it DID come off.

You need something meaner for those bolts, or, grab a piece of pipe that will fit over your ratchet handle, to give you a bit more leverage. Once you get it to break loose, it should come off without too much fight.

Yea my pipe is too long it wasnt fitting. A buddy of mine came through for me. He brought his 1/2 inch driver and 5 min later I had the starter in my hand. I have some pics for u guys. All thats left is the oil pan too dark and cold

Yeah, I HATE working outside in the winter....... that sucks. There are a BUNCH of oil pan bolts..... hope your health insurance covers carpal tunnel.

No ****, i counted 18 bolts. maybe ill get the power drill to take them all off

And if you got a rubber gasket, your going to need longer bolts. I did that, but it was 11 o clock on a sunday night so we put the jack under the pan and compressed the gasket
