Will an nv4500 bolt right in place of a 3500?

Sorta..... I think the issue you may run into is output shaft size/spline count, and length. May have to shorten the driveshaft.....

I'm 99% sure they're the same length. I think the mount is in a different spot though.

1/2 tons never came stock with a nv4500..i swapped one into my truck..the only thing that was different is you need to get the shift tower and shifter with the nv4500...otherwise its a direct fit.....

3500 should have the NP241DHD. It'll bolt right up.

As long add the splines are the same size then yes
