Which one? There are two. one goes in next to the upper heater hose(pull the dash to fix). the other goes in through the upper cowl to a canister(more easily fixed)

my guess is that it's the vacuum line going to the blend doors. (i think theres a vac line there..?)

It is the 1 going through at the heater hose i assume because it is not coming out there, just broke off at the t and the other 1 goes up at the upper cowl, can this be rerouted to avoid removing dash again??---i did have this done at a shop as i have changed the evap coil a few years back and knew what was involved to have to tear dash down again-----now this,i will talk back to them where i got it done, but was wondering if i may could just rerun it myself without major labor
-----thanks

You might be able to see it if you remove the glove box and passenger air bag. Not sure though. If not , you may be able to get to it by just unbolting and swinging the dash down.

If what is hooking up in the duct? the vac line? Not sure about removing the cover. If you unbolt and drop the steering wheel, remove the screws on top of dash by the windshield and loosen the 2 bolts(but do not remove the 2 bolts on either side of the lower dash behind the side panels), the dash will just swing out of the way. Don't forget to remove the cable for the shift indicator.
