Default 95 Ram 1500 Overheating?

I've got a 95 Ram 1500 w/360. It keeps overheating. I have replaced the thermostat and water pump, and the radiator seems to be flowing fine. I can hear the fan clutch engage and dis-engage. And the radiator cap tested good. I also recently replaced the heads, but it was overheating before and after the heads were replaced. I'm not sure what else it could be, or if there is something I missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a '97 Ram 1500 and similar issue. Put a drop light to the radiator coil and make sure your fins in both your radiator and the condenser (A/C) coil are all clear. You should be able to see right through. If you do any off-roading, and even just the age of the vehicle, mud/dirt, gets caught in the fins and can block enough of the air getting through to cause you problems not to mention it will also affect your transmission cooling. I found this out the hard way.....

Sorry.....forgot to mention not to use compressed air to clean coils. Use a regular water hose with a spray and gently wash until coils are clear. You might be surprised how much dirt and grime will come out. Hope this helps resolve your problem.

Did you burp the system thoroughly? It's a pain to get all the air out.....
