Default I have an exhaust leak what can I use to seal it

Well I redid my exhaust and I now have leaks at the joints even after clamping them. I'm trying to find out what would be the best sealant to use to seal the leaks. Any suggestions would be awesome? I have put on permantex muffler and tailpipe sealant yesterday and had leaks today but I'm not sure I let it dry long enough. So I put it on again tonight and we will see at 530 am. Does anyone have any other suggestions? thanks.

Muffler Cement. You smear it on with your finger, and when it hardens, its a lot like steel....

I always positioned the clamp with the nuts at say 3:00 then tightened. Loosen turn 90* and retighten. Never had a problem this way.

well for starters I don't have a welder and I don't no how to. But believe me I'm not against buying one from harbor freight for 100 bucks or so. Then I just have to figure out how to weld

Grab one of the wire feed fellers, that can use the flux-core wire. You can practice your welding skills on your exhaust, as if the first few are ugly, it doesn't matter.
