Default 97 Ram 2500 2" Lift what size tires?

Hey guys I have a 97 Ram 2500 Club cab 4x4 with a 2: lift. I bought some new Dick Cepek DC-2 wheels and I was looking to wrap them in some new skins my question is can I fit a 285-75-16 or would I have to stick with 275's? Thank you guys for your help

285's will fit fine. Those are basically 33" tires, which fit the half-ton fellers quite nicely with three inches of lift. As you have a 3/4 ton, you already sit 2"s higher than the half ton trucks. So, with 'basically' 4" of lift over a half-ton, the 285's will fit nicely.

Depending on tire you might want to look at jumping a size wider with 305/70/16

My 4x4 1500 with a 2" leveling kit fits 285/75/16's just fine; your 2500 will have no issue at all.
