Default PS Fluid

Need to top off my 01 1500 WS, as the seal is leaking on the top of the gear box, which I will tackle once it get warmer here in NEPA. Which fluid do I get, the ATF+4? I know the say to use MOPAR ONLY, but does anyone use any other kind? Will I ruin anything using NON MOPAR fluid?

Thanks in advance!

Brad

Because my manual states using ONLY Mopar Power Steering Fluid P/N- 04883077.

Just wondering if I use a different brand, will it cause any harm? Seems the only place to get it is at the dealer...

Sorry if this question has been asked 100 times, but I used the search and didn't find anything.

Thanks,

Brad
