Default Do they make 3.73s?

I was wondering if they make 3.73 gears for the 9.25 that is what I would really like but if not I'll go with 3.92

I would not go with a 3.73 from a 3.55. For the money that is not worth it IMO

Will 4:10's work in the 9.25?

Yep.
That's what everyone installs if they don't have 3.92's.

Dodge made 3.73's for the 9.25 and D44, but only during certain years, and hardly any trucks came equipped with them. Mostly 3.55 and 3.92. Some of the later HD 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks came with 4.10's optional.

I think 4.10s would be too low for me. I do some hauling but use my truck as my daily driver. I need as much gas mileage as I can get. And the 3.55 is too high

Really there is no difference between the 3.73's and the 3.92's in a 2 ton truck. The 4.10'a may actually give you BETTER MPG around town. And it won't drop it much if at all on the highway.

I've heard half tons with the offroad package have 4.10s so you'll be good if this information is correct lol

Well actually 4.10s wouldnt hurt your mileage unless you do mainly highway driving, because if i remember correctly on another thread they were comparing speed to rpms based on the gearing, and with 4.10s at 70mph they were only about 2-300 rpms higher than the 3.55's

3.21, 3.55, 3.92, 4.11, 4.56, 4.88 are the only options for the corporate 9.25" axle.
