Reverse lights blowing
That would be the first thing I would check. Both at the connector, and where the trailer harness splices into the rear lighting harness. (although I don't think I have ever seen a trailer with backup lights..... start at the splice connections.

Blah! I hate wiring, well suppose i should check it out tmrw.. I was backing out of a spot the other day and nearly got hit.. Started of coursing chewing the guys *** and then today i was pulling my stuck 4wheeler out and mom said your reverse lights aint workin! DOH!!
U haul put some kind of three wire to four wire adapter on my truck one time and it kept jacking up lights. (wife used truck to help her son move one day while I was out of town). When I climbed under there, the adapter was burned and swollen and took out my lighting. Don;t know if you have one of those, but check if you do. Don't know why they installed unless just trying to rip off a woman. I have a 7 blade RV conector witha 4 pin standard trailer connector there with electric brakes....didn't need any stinking adapter....
There are connectors for tail lights and tag lights. Maybe unplug them and see if problem goes away. Then plug them in one at a time. May narrow down the area to search.

Tag lights on same circuit. Unplug all rear lighting and reconnect one at a time until you blow the fuse. It will identify which part of the circuit has a problem. Hopefully it is there instead of headlight swtch.
