Erm, I would point out that you are the one that dredged up this thread, you are the one that can't fix a heater core, and you ostensibly do this for a living, while the shade-tree mechanics here deal with them without a problem. Seems to me, you are the one with the issue. Why are you even here? If you think you are doing some sort of 'public service', you are sadly mistaken.

Junk is what one doesn't have the skill to fix... and what is one mans junk is another mans treasure.
The variable in this is the skill level of the person involved.

There are those among us that would build a 2nd Gen from a stripped lug nut.
There are also those whom don't know a wrench form a socket, but with a little guidance from our pleasant and helpful membership, have successfully repaired heaters.
