Default My bumper is toast.

Well on my way to work, I was 2 miles from the job. All of a sudden, this old guy just slammed on his brakes in front of me for no apparent reason at a yield sign. No cars were coming, anyways. His back bumper is perfectly fine. He had a trailer hitch that stuck out and that hit my bumper. So all you see now is a good size indent on the right side of my bumper.

My question is;

Would it be worth trying to take it off and hammer it back?
Replace it with a used one from junk yard?

I was thinking about buying a front and back diamond plated bumper once I get some money.

Is it hard to replace a bumper?
*Time to google*

What have I learned today? Don't trust others.

If you have a friend or two to help, changing bumpers isn't too bad. If it were my truck, I wouldn't even bother...... of course, mine has a lot of other cosmetic issues that need to be addressed before I worry about the bumper......

I'm not even doing to bother with it any time soon.
I didn't hit the guy hard, maybe about 10mph? I don't think my frame or anything is messed up. Still drives fine, straight. But when I back up or turn right I hear a bit of a "scratching" noise. I haven't yet checked under the truck to see if maybe a piece if pressed up against the axles or something. It's been raining really bad. I'll post some pictures tomorrow and get a better view of what a trailer hitch did to my bumper haha.

Pretty ridiculous.
